From time-to-time, Professional Communication Services seeks part time or full-time agents to work in our Longview, Washington call center. We are especially interested in candidates who have worked in an answering service and experienced agents who know the Startel messaging platform.
General qualifications for employment include the following: 
- Ability to accurately type 40 WPM or better
- Prior customer service and/or telephone work experience
- Ability to demonstrate computer literacy
- A pleasant, articulate speaking manner
- Ability to work with a broad base of clients and callers
- Availability to work regular night and weekend hours
- Ability to demonstrate good spelling and grammar skills
Successful candidates train with experienced PCS agents and normally begin taking their own calls after completing their first week. Depending on the number of hours worked, new employees can take up to six months (or longer) to become well-versed in handling PCS accounts.
